More of the same woods only I set a time limit of 45 minutes for today's painting. The idea being when the time was up, the painting was finished — no matter what it looked like, so here it is.

A Favorite Place

Over night the snow slid off the trees and bushes, the hemlock lifted back to where it used to be, and the bamboo is almost back to normal. What a difference 8 hours can make. Now we have blue sky, sunshine, and just a little snow on the ground in the front garden.

Snowed lightly this morning. By late afternoon a little windows of golden light came through the trees. I tried to capture some of them in my sketchbook.
