It didn’t look like the kitten would fit in here to me, but take your eyes off her for a moment and he could show up just about anywhere. My guess is we both enjoyed the view.

Around the corner from the last posting, I found this man getting ready for the day. The bin by his feet has “Live! Large! Fresh Oysters” on ice, above them are butter clams and Pacific wild salmon.

It was the bright orange overalls, piles of ice and the water on the floor that grabbed my attention.

"Early Morning Sun"

I had a meeting in town yesterday morning. I drove in early and stopped at Pike Place Market to look for painting opportunities. This man was reading the news in the morning sun. The coffee shops and cafes were open but the rest of the market was still setting up for the day. More paintings to follow soon.

"More Cherries"

More cherries! I am quite fond of blue and white in the kitchen. I also like painting cherries, especially the dark, dark red ones.

I was totally captivated by the amazing focus of my friend’s kitten. He was intent on something above him. It took a moment for me to realize that the bright sunlight was bouncing off my camera! As I moved, the kitten followed the reflected light on the ceiling. I loved his expression so much, I had to paint it.
