Painting in the kitchen earlier this week before the power went out. One morning was 16º outside. The house has been cold too, so we have visited places that still had power—coffee shops, the library, eateries. The snow has left the trees but still covers the ground in our neighborhood.
Our power came back last night so the house is warm again today. The stove and hot water work again, and I am back to painting.
